Dr. Muntasir Dauda Shariff is a legal practitioner and scholar with over a decade of post-call experience in energy and environmental law, corporate governance, litigation, and commercial law. He holds an LL.B from Bayero University, an LL.M in Energy and International Law from Ahmadu Bello University, and a Ph.D. in Climate and Energy Law from Nile University of Nigeria. He has authored 15 peer-reviewed publications on energy transition, climate governance, and constitutional law, and has lectured at Nile University’s Faculty of Law. Professionally, he has served as Company Secretary/Legal Adviser at Jaiz Takaful Insurance Ltd, Manager of Litigation at 9mobile, and Legal Manager at BUA Cement Plc, in addition to early practice at Dele Olaniyan & Co. and Tri Nasr Solicitors. Dr. Sharif combines corporate, academic, and legal expertise, offering strong governance insight and deep knowledge of sustainability, climate, and energy transitions.
